Account Deletion – YinMo
If you no longer wish to use YinMo, you can request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data here. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
What gets deleted:
- Profile & Login Credentials: Your name, email, phone number, and password.
- Vehicle Information: All saved vehicle details, including VIN, make, model, and registration numbers.
- AI Estimations & Photos: All uploaded photos of vehicle damage and the AI-generated estimation reports.
- Booking & Communication History: All repair shop booking summaries and in-app chat messages exchanged with shops.
- Subscription Metadata: Information regarding your plan (Starter, Pro, or Business) stored on our servers. (Note: We cannot delete billing records held by Apple or Google).
How to Delete Your YinMo Account from Inside the App
You can delete your YinMo account directly from the app at any time. The option is located just above the Sign Out button in your menu. Here’s how:
- Open the YinMo app on your device.
- Log in to your account (if you’re not already logged in).
- Go to the Profile or Menu settings.
- Tap Delete Account, located directly above the Sign Out button.
- A confirmation message will appear. Confirm that you want to permanently delete your account and all associated data.
- Once confirmed, your account will be queued for deletion, and all data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
Before you delete:
- Cancel Subscriptions: Please cancel any active subscription (Starter, Pro, or Business) in your device settings (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) before deleting your account.
- Billing Notice: Account deletion does not automatically cancel store billing.
